Digital Integrated Circuits Design Bootcamp Puebla, México, 2025
March 24 th - March 28 th , 2025
Every day from 9 am to 6 pm
INAOE, Puebla, México.
Integrated Circuits are at the heart of innovations that are changing the way people live and work.
Autonomous machines. Data centers. Billions of smart, connected technologies. Three major technology trends artificial intelligence, silicon proliferation, and software-defined systems are shaping a new era of pervasive intelligence where technology is seamlessly integrated into our lives.
These trends are increasing design complexity and cost, while driving greater compute and energy demands. New design paradigms and approaches are essential for the industry to thrive in this rapidly evolving landscape.
Rapid changes in Integrated Circuits (IC) technology and constantly shrinking nodes demand new capabilities and skills to meet the contemporary requirements for IC design.
Synopsys Chile Innovation Center* and INAOE** invite you, undergraduate and graduate students and academics, to participate in the Digital Integrated Circuits Design Bootcamp where you will attend workshops accessing leading-edge software and plenary talks prepared to strengthen skills around the design and simulation of digital integrated circuits that are highly demanded in an increasingly more competitive and technologized market.
This bootcamp is a digital integrated circuit design course (synthesis flow, and place and route) where you will work on design and implementation of small common circuit blocks like differential pair and bias circuits.
Who should attend?
Undergraduate and graduate students and academics that meet the following requirements:
Basic semiconductor electronics knowledge.
Digital Systems knowledge.
Linux user.
Get ready for an immersive learning experience.
*Synopsys Chile opened in 2006 is one of Synopsys Inc., most important R&D centers the company has around the world and the only one in Latin America.
**The National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics (Instituto Nacional de Astrofísica, Óptica y Electrónica, INAOE) is a Mexican science research institute located in Tonantzintla, Puebla. Founded on November 12, 1971, it has over 100 researchers in Astrophysics, Optics, Electronics and Computing Science, with postgraduate programs in these areas. INAOE is one of 30 public research centers sponsored by the National Council of Science and Technology of Mexico (CONACyT).
