Juan Romero is an Electronic Engineer from the Industrial University of Santander-UIS (Bucaramanga, Colombia) with a master’s degree in electronic engineering from the same educational institution. Juan started working as a professor, and then jumped to work with Synopsys to be part of the Customer Success Group (CSG) around +2 years ago. He is the Verification Team Lead at CCSG, with background RTL, SoC network communication and functional verification.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/span>At Synopsys, Juan has been involved in helping the client when they have a problem related to the VCS and Verdi tools, both tools used during the functional verification process. The tasks he commonly faces are, providing information about the tools when required, ensuring that the problems that the client detects related to VCS and Verdi are resolved, helping during the process of migrating the design to a new version of the tool, and improving the performance at runtime and build time in the verification flow stage.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Ronald Valenzuela currently manages a team of Product Engineers (PE) at Synopsys. With his team, they provide support on Power Optimization and Power Analysis\u202fcapabilities of Synthesis and Place & Route tools. As PEs, they engage with customers to enable methodologies and, also contribute to planning and testing of the tools. Ronald has 10 years of experience in EDA Industry, he is Electronics Engineer of Universidad de Concepci\u00f3n and has a certification on Integrated Circuit design from Stanford University, CA<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Esteban Viveros is an Electronic Engineer from Universidad de Concepci\u00f3n (Concepcion, Chile).
He started to work at Synopsys on December 2013 as Quality Engineer and now he is R&D Manager of a team in Chile Site.
The PV team is part of the Digital Design Group (DDG) and works on the \u00abProduct Validation\u00bb of the Synopsys tools used for RTL Synthesis, Test, Physical Implementation (Place and Route), Formal Verification and Sign-off.
His team is responsible of the quality of the tools focusing on the stability, performance, usability and QoR (Quality of Results).
The team interacts daily with colleagues and internal\/external customers in different parts of the world (mainly US, China and Taiwan).
Besides that, Esteban actively collaborates on the university training activities dictated by Synopsys Chile.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
